Be sure to use targeted keywords for each post.
Create a free report (eg. 7 questions you must ask before working with a bookkeeper) to entice your prospects to subscribe to your email list.
Follow up with your prospects, educate them, provide them with tips, etc (refer them to your blog posts regularly)
Create a lead capture page to collect name & email (even mobile number) of your subscribers giving away the free report. (use targeted keywords in the meta tag and in the website copy).
Market your lead capture page (drive traffic to this page).
Traffic generation ideas:-
Do Google search using keyword people would use to find your business (eg. bookkeeper in texas),
list your business with all the directories & authority sites that show up on page 1 & 2 of Google.
Write articles and submit them to article directories like Ezine, article city, etc.
Create videos and upload them to Youtube and other video sites, with a link back to your websites.

Building a brand name for a service company needs to start from the fundamentals. That is to build a name based on quality service. Since your business covers a variety of the accounting service and insurance, it appears that this is a sizable business. To expand the recognition, the owner or partner may want to join the local chamber of commerce and start networking there. A website is important in today’s electronic world. I found pamphlet helpful, but not effective. Again, to ensure the quality of the service is paramount. Any disgruntled service will result in negative image on the brand of the company. Good luck.

As for the off line marketing you can start distributing promotional products that would introduce your company and the services it offers through this your company will get extra exposure, it will easily can get recognized and remembered.

Attend local business networking events regularly, build up relationships with others who have small businesses in their network and, when they trust you, they’ll be happy to refer you.
